    INFORMATION
    Ten Sing (Teenager Singing) is a life style with many creative and happy young people. A choir not only with music, singing, but dancing, drama and devotion, too. Anybody can be a member.
    Ten Sing is a YMCA activity. The movement originated in Norway around 1967. It aims to reach young people that are almost inapproachable with traditional methods.
    The movement spread fast and became so popular that European Festivals got organized: the first one in 1993 in Germany, and the third one in Hungary, Kiskőrős in 1997.
    The watchword of Ten Sing could be the triple C, that is, Christ, Creativity and Culture. Christ, because it is basically a work of Christian young people amongst other young people. There is obviously more to it, as it aims to be a mission both on the inside and on the outside. Creativity, because it is conveyed through music, dance and drama, developing the body and the spirit. Ten Sing is so versatile that everyone can find what they really want to do, whether it is organizing concerts, participating in the drama group or leading the choir. Culture, because using our national youth culture may be a means by which young people can be reached.
    Ten Sing members use their own music and build up their concerts that, as follows from above, involve dance, drama and pantomime parts.
    It is an expressly amateur movement, not requiring any professional skills. Ten Sing work can help members understand that they are unique and precious.

    Ministry is not something we do for God, but something God does inside, with and through us: "for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose." (Phil 2,13)
